Water = bad continued.

Dana took this pic Monday as we attempted to get back to work after our lunch hour at Target. We spent 30 min in Target and 1 hr 15 min trying to get back to work when it should take 5 min. Rt 1 was flooded thus causing traffic. Thanks to Dana for hanging out of the Contour to take this pic. Maybe since I gave her blog props, she'll get a myspace page although I doubt it....

Water. Good or Bad? That is the question.

Ah the many ironys in life. I took the pic of the water bottle last week to talk about my quest to be healthier. Water = good for you. A few days later a Nor'Easter hit NJ and massive flooding occured. Water=bad. Alanis would laugh at this scenario.

Blogger Slacker

e
Ok so I am an official blogger slacker. I haven't posted in more than a week. Hey, well I said I'd do my best and it's been a hectic week. This is from last Thurs. Michael and me getting ready for the big baptism class. And boy was it hardcore. I have to thank Charles for bailing me out on the tough questions. It has been 13 years since CCD.

Caffeine Oh How I love Thee

I love coffee. No, I mean I really love coffee. Some people need it as a morning pick me up. I need it all the time. Why I love coffee...

1. It wakes me up
2. It tastes yummy (especially flavored ones)
3. The workers at Einstein Bros. know my name and ask me how I am doing several times per week
4. It satisfies my hunger when I am craving food
5. It's cheap
6. It can be a social activity
7. The smell of it makes it feel like home (especially when driving by Mellita)
8. It has gotten me through working 2.5 jobs, grad school, Sunday mornings at the radio station and long fire police calls!

Spring Cleaning

If only I had a before picture. After a year and a half of having a clutter filled desk, Dana finally motivated me to clean it off and organize. In a nice way she bascially said my desk was a stye and she didn't want to share the messy cubicle with me. Anyway, it is now clean (Dana cleaned too) and all is good (I also organized all those memos that were hung on the cubicle after I took the picture).

I feel so much better going to work every day now. I just had to be motivated to do it. Now only if I can find the motivation to clean the clutter filled closet in my condo.

Oh well, for a different day...

GO RU!

Here is a little tribute to the Rutgers Girls Basketball team. These are the flags the adorn the courtyard on the Rutgers Camden Campus. Go Rutgers! PS: only 8 mos. until I graduate!

Happy Easter!

Here is my Godson, Michael, as the Easter Bunny. He looks so cute for his first Easter and he's getting big so quick! The bunny suit comes complete with white tail, but due to the one pic rule, you'll just have to imagine. Happy Easter (-:3

Charles and I dyed Easter Eggs tonight. Proof that you don't have to be a kid to have fun at Easter :)

Enchanted April

I got to go to one of my favorite theaters tonight--The Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia-America's oldest active theater and the one with the most subscribers too.

The play I saw, Enchanted April, was very timely with the creation of this blog. It reminds us all that Spring is a time for new beginnings and to appreciate the beauties in everyday life.

Shore Thing

I had the pleasure of being in Ocean City, NJ today. While it was cold, it somehow always feels like summer there. The beach is this picture is empty--much different from how it will be in 2 months.

In someways, I like the shore better in the off season. It is beautiful, yet quiet, and somehow comforting. I kind of grew up during my summers in OC. I learned so much about myself and others (especially the ones I lived with for a week).

I don't get to visit one of my favorite places that much any more. Work, school, and personal responsiblites have robbed me of my careless summer days on the beach and eating my way up the boardwalk (Mack & Mancos, Johnson's Popcorn, Kohr Bros.).

But everytime I go back, I somehow feel like a kid again...

Little Things

I was inspired by Trish to create a photo blog. There's so much in life we fail to see every day. Especially with my busy life, I am trying to slow and and appreciate the small things. Only 1 pic allowed per day though. I will try my best and post everyday.
